So this has been the month of thinking of others, our loved one and also about loving our family. But what about loving ourselves? Let’s not forget how important it is to look after ourselves, pay attention to our health and well being and how we can love life to the full as a result.
Now, don't get me wrong, sometimes all I want to do is curl up in front of the fire and attempt to drink my own body weight in red wine, but I’m talking about paying attention to our needs and wants in life and not necessarily about starting some extreme exercise regime…so don’t panic!
I love a good walk (I completed the Three Peaks Challenge a few years ago so know what it takes to train for a physical challenge like that and survive the ordeal!) and I appreciate getting out into the fresh air and enjoying the countryside where we live. It’s good for my soul and being a relatively small thing, for me at least, I manage to walk regularly. Having my phone with me is a good idea as I get completely distracted by trying to take interesting photos for my social media feeds so the walk doesn't feel all that strenuous. Here's one I took earlier...
So what is your way of feeding your soul? Is it your daily cuppa, three hours on Facebook or a cuddle with your pet?
Injecting more of what we love into our daily lives not only makes us happier but those around us will be happier as a result and that has to be a good thing for all of us doesn't it? As I said earlier in February - see my blog post ‘It’s the Small Things in Life’, it’s those little things that add up and that goes for how we look after ourselves too. We owe it to ourselves to take care of our wellbeing. At the risk of sounding like a shampoo commercial….we’re worth it!
So here’s a few ideas to help you inject that loving feeling into your life.

Top 5 Spring Colours to Get you Feeling Fresh:
Pantone’s colours of the year for 2016 are Rose Quartz, a pale pink and Serenity, a pale blue. Lovely combo!
Not a fan of pink or blue? Try Pantone’s other spring colours: Buttercup; a deep yellow, Fiesta; a lovely rich orange red and Green Flash. Try them on walls, in ceramics and maybe a jumper?
On another note:
Today is Tell a Fairy Story Day (yes it is, believe me!) and if, like me, you love a good story check out Lucy’s fab site http://www.strawberryglen.co.uk and read The Tale of Goldenheart…very sweet!
