A Short Tale About Taking Time Off and A Great New Cafe

I had some great ideas back at the beginning of the month for each of my blog posts and have been happily writing away, I've even written a blog post for another website and hoping that it will be accepted (I'll let you know if it does and where to find it) but I sat down to edit what I had written for today....and you know what? I just don't like it! So what to talk about today?

A Short Tale About Taking Time Off and A Great New Cafe

It's been funny sort of few days, very busy with markets and a bit of travel here and there, getting used to being at home after a short break away and a change in the weather and how it 'feels' out there - definitely autumnal on my early morning walk today and that's good, roll on the time when I can actually light the fire and drink a Bailey's coffee....any excuse I know....

But today, I actually had a break, took the morning off, because it just felt right. My other half keeps telling me to take a break, which I find so hard and I think any small business owner is the same, we never switch off. I must be infuriating to live with....but today we went out for lunch and tried somewhere new.

It's a new cafe called Home that has opened in the small town not far from us where I used to live, it's vegetarian and run by some lovely folks. We had a lovely simple but unbelievably tasty lunch for less than £20 and we can't wait to go back and try their fab looking breakfasts...American style buckwheat pancakes with banana, blueberries and Greek yoghurt anyone? Yes please!

If you find yourself in Castle Cary, Somerset, try out Home, you won't regret it.

They can be found on Twitter: @HomeCastleCary and also on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/HomeCastleCary/

Next week: A round up of September and a lot less blabbering on.....I might throw in a cat photo or two as well...because I can x
